Get ready to ramble
The Lyveden Way, Northamptonshire’s seventh long distance path, was officially opened in September 2005 as part of the 400th anniversary of Lyveden New Bield, an Elizabethan lodge and moated garden, situated 4 miles south west of Oundle. The official start of the walk is at the Fermyn Woods Country Park Visitor Centre and takes in Lyveden New Bield, and Wadenhoe, where it turns back across country to return to the starting point.
